Icon6 Recent Speedy Pro ad

Speedy spotted on the back cover of this week’s Time magazine (international edition).

Given the fact you cannot find a stainless Rolex anywhere, Omega should be pushing the heck out of their line.

It’s not quite apples to apples but I would think the constraints would help Omega.

Cool! Seems odd, though, that Omega chose a photo of an astronaut who isn't actually wearing his Speedmaster Pro strapped to the outside of his EVA suit. There are bunches of dynamite photos showing the watch clearly visible on the forearms of space suits.

What does seem odd is that they are commemorating "timing mankind's greatest hour" and they don't show a picture of the 105.012-65 in the add!

Cool ad!

I have one of these NASA EVA straps I bought years ago but never used... because it’s about a yard long! But a cool piece to have regardless. No special markings unfortunately but you know it when you see it.
