Will let you all know that it’s fake when I find out lol.
Thanks everyone!
Its even got the tiny crown on the glass at the bottom of the face (near the 6) I can’t get it in a photo. Very hard to see but it’s there.
Why go to so much effort for a fake!

It is FAKE 100%. The lug is stamped 18K when it is clearly stainless steel...

MOP is mother of pearl.

Get it authenticated. That should be interesting. There are enough things "off" about it that I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Just got the bracelet off to look for a serial number and nothing.
Least I learnt a bit about watches over the past few hours.
I like my little fake watch hahah. But now can’t get the bracelet back onto the face 😂 I’ll take it in tomorrow to get back together.
It can match my fake boobs I don’t get any complaints about them 😂
Thanks everyone!

The serial number on that one would be engraved at the bottom of the dial around where it has "Rolex" engraved. If anything, search Google for the serial number and see if it's a common number.

As to why fakes go to so much effort, there's a large profit to be made.

The first thing that comes up with that serial number search is for a website selling . . .

Well you know.

F serials shouldn't be engraved. Add that to the list of other red flags.

Sorry, not a barn find.

Well can someone tell me the things that make it fake rather than just saying it’s fake lol.

If we get too specific then it becomes a reference for the world of fakes to use and improve. The dial, gold plating (rather than being true 18K), and many small details in quality and fit throw red flags.

Please take it to a Rolex Service Centre in your area.

Guys, anyone chiming in to remotely infer this watch may be real should stay away from buying a Rolex, even from an AD.
This thing is a horrible fake.

There is the clincher that the OP is almost certainly not inquiring out of a genuine motivation. Why would a non-WIS/non purveyor of fake watches care how fake their fake watch is?

These posts show up all the time and you would have to be credulous to believe that all but a small fraction are genuine.

I have no way of knowing for sure if the OP is genuine, and in the absence of non-circumstantial evidence I’m just going with statistical probability. In the event OP that you are genuine, I apologise for my skepticism and you can console yourself with the knowledge that the opinion of this particular random internet nobody is inconsequential.

Wouldn't you ask the previous renters (family friends) if they left their "real" Rolex? I wouldn't leave my (wife, ex-wife, girlfriend....) Rolex in a jar to be donated if it were real......

The things that make it a fake are that it is a fake. Somebody did not leave a $20,000.00 watch in the attic.

A big clue is that the serial number is a 2003 release sequence; this watch is made to appear as a later model release. There are many more tells.

Stick around and learn what an authentic Rolex looks like, then you, too, can look at a counterfeit and know the difference. In the meantime, this watch appears to be sound and will work as well as many other drugstore watches, enjoy it... but don't fool yourself.

Well to be honest, the people who lived here previously were drug manufacturers. A $20k Rolex being left behind is nothing compared to the Mercedes they also left behind.

OP

Do yourself and the world a favor and hit the watch with a hammer and toss the remains in the trash.

Just make sure whoever you donate it to knows its fake to avoid future embarrassment.

So a less fortunate person would be embarrassed wearing a fake Rolex?
Lol!
