Watches on bracelets - not the usual suspects

Let’s say you’re interested in a watch on a bracelet, but not the usual suspects (rolexes, nautilus, RO). Still playing in the general price range, though. What are your options?

IWC Pilot series, unless that is too low-end for your purposes...

Most of the IWC Pilots post 2000 have been available on bracelet. Their early 2000s pyramid bracelet is one of the most comfortable ever. FWIW I prefer my IWC Mark XV w pyramid bracelet to my Patek 5711/1A in terms of comfort despite the Nautilus getting lots of praise for how it wears.

Great list here! I really like the Laureato and a lot of the GS models and plan on having them in the collection.

Definitely not too low end. Thanks for your suggestion

I would add the IWC Mark XII to this list with a beads of rice bracelet

Here's a very unusual suspect -- Alexander Shorokhoff. They have a steel mesh bracelet that's so nice; beefy, well finished, great double deployant clasp. No endlinks, would fit anything 20mm I suppose. Would be gauche to put on anything but a Shorokhoff watch, though. I got one for my Glocker on a whim, love it.

i would imagine the list you created was a bit tongue-in-cheek and solely in response to the OP's rather broad yet purposefully high price range, and not a suggestion that those listed share a common level of quality and respect.

Not sure I follow your train of thought there.
The request was straight forward, and it’s up to the OP to decide each model’s respectability.
With regards to quality, each piece has an inherent quality befitting or exceeding its market position and/or purchasable price.
