I received my 5711 in blue after I purchased my 5905p and could have bought one together with the 5905p. My AD says that as a large dealer, they get about 1 per year in blue and the list is such that I would probably never get another one from them...and this is after I just purchased my 5990 (third patek) from them.

I have noticed that there are quite a number of Patek ADs in Hong Kong. Almost 2-3 times more than Singapore. What are the chance of getting a 5712 steel from ADs in HK? Are the waiting lists over there as bad as Singapore?

OMG! It's beautiful! Fits me like a glove. And I love the box that it came in. Boy am I glad I gave that deposit. It only took a month from the time I put it down to when I received it. So, now I have to wait for about a week because of scheduling before I receive it. Can't wait! But it's all mine.

Wow. That's crazy. 3-4 years! Can't you go to New York and place a deposit with an AD there? I guess I just got lucky. I happened to send a email and after a discussion about deposit amounts I was told I was number 2 on the list. The guy who was number 1 declined. Got the call yesterday, paid for it today. Now waiting for delivery.
I have had a few Rolexes and they do not compare to this. I am so overjoyed I've been smiling all day. Good luck to you. |

Exactly. I told them to wait until Monday to ship it out. I'll get it either Tuesday or Wednesday. I put the deposit down 8/5. Watch was in 9/7. At least I could look at that awesome box - makes Rolex's look like it came from Walmart!
