5712, my first Patek, sold a year later in order to move to a just serviced pre-owned Datograph 39mm (a decision which obviously I do not regret).

However, and as I am on the lookout for the next acquisition, of all the timepieces I owned (Nautilus, Calatrava, AP ROC, JLC Grand Reverso 8d Sun/Moon, etc.) and when I sit down to consider what 'cons' all these pieces had, the 5712 is the only watch I cannot fault for something...

Actually I wonder if anyone has thought of donating a piece to TRF to be used in a giveaway or some such charity auction, if they have no interested dependents?

My young friend and boxing coach is getting one and then my wife can liquidate the rest assuming she outlives me.
