Buy a 97200 bracelet W for it and you’ll have the best of both worlds.

I've owned a Kermit since 2008 and never looked back. 16610V wins for me.

Congrats on your new purchase, M series is a nice one to have with its first year intro to the engraved Rehaut. I was trying to search for a complete unpolished full set last year and found an early Z February of this year.

On an equivalent condition trade now I would have to put in cash and wish I had made that trade. I've always had a love/hate relationship with the LVc and very rarely wear it these days, I prefer the five digit case the black dial and yes the old bracelet. I know many will disagree and that's fine
This is very similar to my experience ...

although I sold my LVc in the end, which I don't regret as I wasn't wearing it. But I do wish I had done a trade for a Kermit.

Tough decision . . .

Congrats! Both are nice but the original wins.

For an excellent and complete 16610LV, Yes, I would do the trade.

I think there will be a lot of no right or wrong comments here. I think as you know the market value seems to be pretty fair, so I'd make the move of the 5 digit sings more to you. Personally I prefer the more modern of the two.

When I sold my sub, I held onto my bracelet and obviously took less money, but that's something I'd consider so you can have the best of all worlds.

I'm a huge history and nostalgia type of guy so obviously the 16610V appeals to me. However, (and I hate admitting this), I should consider the current SS market situation aspect of both watches.

Excluding my personal presence of 5-digit models, if you can get a complete set 16610V for a complete set 116610LV, do you see any reason to not trade away the 116610LV for it? Straight up trade.

Opinions are appreciated.
I do not like older pieces now since I got my 16570....

Me personally would swap in a heartbeat. As long as the 5 digit is correct and a genuine one.
