Tudor BB Chrono Won't Zero

Had the BB Chrono for about a month and the minute chrono hand won't reset to zero but hangs at the 1 minute mark. I know it can be fixed under warranty but unless it gets worse I think I will wait until service. Hopefully it won't stick in my craw too long over the next few years. Maybe I will change my mind. Time will tell.

My choice, but what would YOU do?

Did it ever reset correctly?

I’d want something like that fixing

Chronos can be a little loose a few seconds either side of change over and can be a little early to align at the hour but a reset to 1 min is a warranty job not a service tweak imo

It did reset OK when I bought it. I am 99% sure I didn't try to reset during chrono operation. I suspect it may be going back for warranty work. My AD is an official Rolex licensed warranty center. If they can do the work I WILL have it done as I completely trust them. I just don't want to have it go off to Dallas or NYC and come back with other issues as happens sometimes. I will check with my AD tomorrow.

Have you checked the manual? Some chrono allow adjusting of the minute hand. Not sure if that works on automatic chrono's or only quartz though.

I've had the chrono hand not return to zero on my Sinn 757 UTC. It was reset under warranty.

Easy to fix but a pain nonetheless.

That only works on quartz, as far as I know.

I would have it serviced under warranty lest they charge you for fixing it when it comes time for service.

Yeah, looks like it's a big enough issue to get sorted. I'll be seeing my friendly AD tomorrow. Thanks for the insights.

I'll be 70 soon. But you're probably still correct.

AD didn't want to mess with it so it's off to RSC Dallas. The AD thought it was worth fixing, probably since they want to make me happy and they have nothing to lose by sending it under warranty, and nothing to gain by trying to talk me out of it. Fortunately I have plenty of other watches to satisfy me during its absence.

Just received this watch back from RSC after warranty repair. Chrono zeros fine now and AD was fine with sending it in for me. Took about a month door to door.

Have to agree and a very simple fix but not worth bothering with it till service time, all it needs is the hand removed and placed 1mm further clockwise around the dial.
