Just out of interest do grey dealers put there prices up on current used pieces overnight? I can't remember or didn't pay attention last year?

Hmmm...makes me more tempted to just pay the £500 premium on an unworn ND Sub-C and hope the increase covers this.

The pricing structure is still so out compared to the rest of Europe.
SubC in Spain is 6900 euros (£6190) retail in uk is £5450 I think. That's a saving of £740 for 2 hour cheap flight granted uk doesn't have any available however I feel they need to raise prices to align themselves with the rest of Europe.
What you talking about UK prices only went up last year!?

Well I sure as hell hope there is no price rise in the UK for the next six months. I will be in the market for a T/T Daytona 116503 with the White MOP Diamond Dial & although these Model's are easy to come by the difference in price in the UK as opposed to Ireland is vast. This Model sells new in the Rolex ad in Ireland for 20,350 Euros as opposed to
14,350 GBP in the Grey Dealer I have bought my two previous Rolexes from. So even given the flights to the UK & the conversion rate I could save somewhere between 2,000 to 2,500 Euro. On the last two Rolexes I purchased in the last two year's I saved between 3,000 to 3,500 Euro

I don’t think there will be an increase in 1st November.
ADs would have been updated by now & Someone like Haywood would have known by now.

This lack of stock isn’t just a problem in the UK. Just spent a week in Dubai, SS sports stock was very thin. The airport had no SS sports stock accept a couple of YM2s

They don’t and can’t know this for sure.
I spoke to a few ADs yesterday and nothing had been confirmed yet.

Yesterday’s UK price rise was a bit of a non-event. 0% unless I am mistaken

In contrast Breitling announced a 7% reduction, the UK watch market is a very strange place at present!

Can't see it happening now, more likely significant Basel changes might lead to price adjustments.

Do you think our subs are going to see a movement update?

That surprised me, had to ask my AD a few times to check he wasn't shining my shoes. Nearly bought a yellow Seawolf on the spot when I heard, but the resale is still too poor. Brands are really being separated into the wheat and the chaff.

I still don't actually this Basel, altho the LVc price moves are indicating it might happen on that model next year or something else is.

Maybe in the beginning of the 2018. Rolex price increase will happen in Switzerland as well due to CHF. Patek, AP, Panerai etc have all done it already.

.

Here's my pricelist with all prices expressed in US dollars (change as of today, see line 2), and all tax free.

As you can see there's a relative equivalence for these prices in most countries , except maybe US and Thailand too high , as well as UK and South Africa too low ...

With this chart in mind, I see no need for Rolex to increase price in the near future.
