When I was a kid riding in the car with my mom, I saw a bumper sticker on another car that said, "Save the whales. Harpoon a fat chick." My rather zaftig mother was offended and said there should be a law against stickers like that. I knew better than to ask if I could have one for my bike.

Then there is using "myself" instead of "me" in a sentence. Myself is a reflexive pronoun and cannot be used in place of a pronoun. For example, saying "please contact myself if you have any questions" is complete grammatical idiocy. It seems to be a recent fad in management writing style.
People saying/writing this, along with 'should of' and 'would of' drive me berserk. It is a whole new mountain of ignorance.

Another one that bugs the living daylights out of me is people saying 'between you and I'. The correct phrase is 'between you and me'.

Here's an aide memoire to pass on to someone who you think could benefit from it.

Confusion between object and subject runs rampant in English usage. It drives me nuts, too.

No Rude, you're (you are) confusing that with the saying:

Rudd Van Driver and Abdullah71061, thank you. Grammatical errors irritate me, too. TV reporters and anchors shouldn't be making these mistakes, should they?
