I remember this, he made a total fool of the Cowell, should have won the whole competition on that alone.

Yes, it's not often you see him drop his jaw.

I thought the two minute Pepsi Super Bowl commercial was what I was supposed to be watching. The commercial was hilarious. Then the talking dog came on and it was even better. That was a twofer! Thanks!

DISCLAIMER :

This is simply my observation and not meant to question the entertainment value of the act.

I thought it was fun to watch and it was a polished act but the guy is clearly a ventriloquist. Did anyone find the dogs lower jaw strangely mechanical ? Almost like that of a trap door ? If you watch the video over closely, you can see he artfully hides the movement of his mouth with his body movement and keeping our attention on the dog and off of him. I think that venue was perfect for his act as virtually all judges and audience members were a good distance away and optimal for his acts success.

Very clever. That show would be good without the moron judges.
Having to look at their stupid faces was the only negative about the video.

I do get it, I just don't like it the same way I don't like people making money by drugging tigers and letting people take pictures with them or selling elephant rides and snake shows here in Thailand.

I hear you and agree except I don't think this dog falls in the same category.

Dog lovers find it hysterical. The dog doesn't look drugged or abused in the clip.
