Wow.....that's a sobering thought.....I don't regret having the procedure at 52 a couple of months ago...after my follow up my dr. said "see you in 5 years" :)

I will say, they have gotten more tolerable since the doctors started using CO2 instead of regular air. No more bloating or turbo-charged farting post-procedure. (Although I kind of miss the latter a bit.)

There is a sign posted outside the main entrance to the Gasto office that does colonoscopies here. It says 'All deliveries in the rear'. I'm not even kidding...
