Mireyna, did you get the pictures taken yesterday? Ewww. Just realized I've been typing with a hunk of mashed banana stuck to my finger.

And to think, Elaine started it all. She came, shared some details of a pretty interesting life, and then wasn't heard from again. I do hope if she ever comes back she'll be happy to see what has become of her thread.

Fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!!!!

With the depression thread and Vel's thread about girlfriends and all the raw soul bearing I feel a little blue.

Hopefully a new life will lift everybody's spirits.

I can't wait. This is what the game is all about folks!!!!!!!!!

My mind has been on "Mireyna Baby Watch" since I woke up! You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers!

Don't they have computers in the hospital?
How about internet access?
Couldn't someone have lent her a laptop?

(I'm hoping she chose the name "Wendy", it's my wife's name)

I'd think it would be possible to get in contact, Bill. Probably just a matter of when they're feeling up to it. It's really exciting - I hope all went smoothly and Mireyna is snuggling with her little baby daughter right now!

Are you clued-in or clueless?

Is everyone at the coffee shop clued-in as to the "new" way of posting? We need to support Steve's efforts with regard to the RolexGreen color. This helps to utilize the vast possibilities. I am confident that the girls in the coffee shop will help with this.

Too much trouble guys. I'm sticking to blue. Green happens to be my favorite color, BUT...... the blue is very readable and what my old eyes are used to.

Tip: Leave the color scheme as it is, and highlight the white text to read.

Thank you, Carolina. I was switching back and forth.

Is your husband feeling any better today?

What actually causes the pain like that in pneumonia? Did he have an abscess in his lung?

Quite true, Carolina--if you know it is there, and if you care. The latest thing is the embedded text, such as what is in my new signature. If I enter the girls coffee shop and ask for directions, does that make me an honorary girl?

Hmm. No response yet to the embedded white text in post #3022.

I just highlight the entire thread and read through it like normal.

I'm also probably the only person here who doesn't care much about the Rolex lume. I don't want my watch glowing in the dark like a beacon. That's the nice thing about quartz, push a button, the thing lights up and you can read the time. Release the button and it goes dark again.

Quite true, embedded texts are all the rage. Art, I laughed my butt off when I first read your post because I thought you said "horny girl".

Sadly, many are using this new medium to plant subliminal messages. The TRF Club for Stupid Limeys (S.L.U.T.S.) for short is the best social club in the nation,....nay the world...no wait, wait, the UNIVERSE!!!

Hopefully, cooler minds will prevail and this trend will cease. Who are we? S.L.U.T.S. What do we want? BEER! When do we want it? NOW! Goooooo S.L.U.T.S.!!!

, Chris.

Bill, you have the right idea. I wonder how many paranoid folks are going to start highlighting all posts because they think there may be something embedded in white?

Thanks so much, Lisa. That does make me feel more welcome in the Girls Coffeeshop Talk area. I can say that Lisa approved me.

The lume thing for me is a non issue...It makes me laugh when guys talk about it as if their life depended on it on a dive!!!!!!!!!

As for invisotext....I hate it...I just like to log in, read, comment and leave. If I have to start fiddling to read what folk are saying behind my back!!!!!!!

Luckily, Jim, the coffeeshop doesn't cater to those kids of patrons.

We calls it like we sees it!

How are things going with your son's sleep time? Hope you all are resting better.
