If it is down to only these two, I would go for the 372 because of its dome crystal.

390 is an overhyped joke

Just another 44 mm luminor like we have already a zillion different variations.
Gold hands, Brown dial .... so what ??

The 372 is imo the mosr beautifull panerai since several years

Why is 372? Is it because of the crown guard? Or its because 47mm? Or the movement?

For the size, People here always think 40mm is big watch. (check the rolex section. Many of them go for 36mm). But this one is damn big watch 47mm, big as monster LOL

I need ur opinion to explain.

Thanks folks! :)

The 372 is better looking to me because of the black dial makes the gold coloring pop. I also love the way the printing on the dial looks. Unfortunately, I find it too large for my wrist. I still vote for it over the 390!

390 all day long... more durable with the sapphire crystal, unique pinkish brown dial only found on this watch, only 44mm luminor with gold hands, SE of only 2000 instead of a regular production piece like the 372 and also a LOT cheaper.

The 390 will probably go up in value over the next few years while the 372 will either fall or stay the same as time goes on.

It's 47mm base Luminor perfection... plexi & all. That & it looks so damn good.

x2....there's a lot to like about the 372, but if I could only choose between a 372 and a 390 for me, it would very likely be the 390.

There is one thing I prefer straight up on the 390 over the 372: the font size and shape.

I think 47 mm is simply too much. It hard to wear regularly unless you are an athlete or in the music business. I will stick to my 328!

If you've got the size to pull off 47mm it's very easy to wear, especially the 372, it wears noticeably smaller than say a 305.
