Packers fan, but I have ALWAYS respected the Giants franchise, since I was a kid. One of the truly great NFL franchises. Finds a way to be relevant often, with 8 overall championships since inception. And great ownership that helped build the NFL.

Ok now you've done it ...lol

However I would argue your statement that it was the "right call". The right call scores. Any play that does not score is not the right call. It was first down and we had a time out. Whole playbook is open. Not opposed to a pass but not a pass where the 5'10" QB had no outs with a 1 step drop and throw. He is not tall enough to throw a ball over the lineman but low enough on that route that only his guy can catch it and it can't be picked. We have analyzed this a lot up here. Personally would have liked to see a roll out with pass/run option and a safer throw to the pylon of the EZ.
Anyways can debate a 2 year old game all day.

Shootout? That looked pretty easy. Wonder when the defenses will show up.

Not looking good. I think the Hawks are toast unless we can generate some turnovers...

3 minutes into the second half and we are done...our D can't play with them. Too many injuries and poor scheme.

Not over yet Mark, but you are right, Seattle has a few too many key injuries it's why the NFL playoffs truly are a war of attrition. Even dominant teams have to get luck on the injury front, and Seattle did NOT get lucky on that front sir!

Appreciate it Marc, but we are just not the team we once were. Offense was so bad this year, D stuck on the field too much. Wore them out and resulted in lots of injuries. The fan base knows we need some retooling. A new offensive coordinator would make me happy and maybe drafting a offensive lineman or two...we also need to get some fresh CB on D.

On IR. Lol. And aging. We need to retool. Also a good defense needs a decent offense to burn clock, churn first downs and hold the ball. That was the main issue all year.
No excuses. Atlanta just flat out beat them and is the better team right now.

NFL Playoff Thread

Good luck to those still in the game.

Congrats to the Falcons who outplayed us on both sides of the ball.

Rooting for the Falcons and our old D coordinator Dan Quinn.

Boys will win tomorrow. Rodgers is amazing, but Pack can't stop our offense and our Marinelli will have a surprise or two for Rodgers and company. If Giants had converted on their early opportunities and covered a Hail Mary correctly, they'd be rolling into Dallas. Glad they're not... we don't match up well against them even though we barely lost in both regular season games.

Everyone says that the Seahawks haven't been the same since the loss of Earl Thomas. As much as I want to argue the fact, they simply haven't. Now they get to go hunt and fish !

Sadly the Texans had plenty of wasted opportunities to keep it close. Great defense. Too bad about special teams and offense.

They weren't the same when Cam was out either. They needed both healthy to be successful.

Now they need to find some youth at CB. Sherman is getting long in the tooth for a speed guy.

Hopefully it will help them get sharp. Bye week etc. Why did Blount get so few carries?
