6694 Oysterdate correct box

So I bought this nice 6694, 1960s, birth year watch (any excuse, I know) and I really like it. Elegant, no nonsense, not too big, fab watch.

My question is, what sort of boxes were these watches sold with back in the 1960s? I don't want to spend a lot of money, it's just that I feel it needs a nice home while not on my wrist.

Any ideas please?

A correct box from the 60s will run you upwards of $400 if you can find one. They are pretty scarce going that far back.

I know boxes from the 60s can be quite expensive. I am just curious to know as to which box would be the right one for a 6694.

I dont know the reference number but its the green leather bound box with a trapezoidal lid. It will have a green felt covered card inside with 2 angled cuts for the bracelet to sit through.
Here is the correct style for reference. Wrong inner card for a 6694 though. Also, the white outer box with green stripe is correct for the era:

Here is a box only with no outer box:

Brilliant, thanks! That's the info I was hoping for.
