I may have a few Cohibas, from Early 90s, in my humidor.

Did the OP lost interest in TRF once he got his watch fixed for free?

William, phenomenal job, you are a class act. I received the watch last night, it was shipped back to me express next day! WITH an additional Rolex Cleaning Cloth. It looks beautiful, and I am eternally grateful. I cannot say enough good things about this man, he has been extremely responsive and his willingness to help out a complete stranger speaks volumes about his character.

I was sick to my stomach when I first received the watch, never had any problems before buying/selling for years. When I first made the post to this forum, I never would have expected the outpouring of support and care this community has provided.

To the couple people who refuted my claim, or said I was simply overreacting. That is fine and I understand it is always necessary to try and objectively look at every situation. However I think William backing up my claim shows I was authentic in my original complaints with the seller.

To the seller Mr. Connor. If you are reading this you are a dirtbag, and karma is real. I hope the next Rolex you buy is a beat up piece of a shit. You are a coward. I was holding out hope at first that this was all one big misunderstanding, but now I am ecstatic to see you banned.

Thank you to the TRF community and for all the support.

OP also said he's been busy with work. I know I have an unhealthy addiction to this forum but when work needs me, this addiction is put on the back burner lol hes probably just busy!

Excellent conclusion to this saga, thanks to the generosity of a fellow member, William.

OP definitely has a story to tell about his Explorer!

sorry guys this past week has been very hectic been doing a lot of traveling for work.

As promised, wrist shot!

I have also made the donation to become a 2017 pledge member, just waiting now on the confirmation.

Thank you to all the wonderful people of this board, I probably won't be checking this thread too often moving forward. It's been quite the adventure. And special thanks to William again.

Nice pic! The watch looks great.

(And thank you for silencing some of the skeptics above)

Read this thread from the start. I would have been horrified to receive that watch after the description he was given end of.

William L you are a true gent and have restored my faith in human nature.

Uh oh, we have a fellow Habanos lover! I have a Partagas Lusitania sitting in my humidor for about 5 years, also have a box of 2010 Monte #2s. They're getting just right....

Incredible photo. I would not have believed a polish could be so successful on *that* watch! I'm a newbie and tend to take care of my watches (though I have worn my Yachtmaster through three Olympic triathlons, I stopped doing that : ).

It's great to see the nice ending to this saga and learn a bit more about how incredible these Rolex machines are. I now see exactly what you all mean when you talk about a 'polish.'

OP, good luck to you. As many have said, you've got a stunning watch with quite a story behind it.

I've been lurking here for some time now. I finally signed up a couple of days ago. Just finished reading all 15 pages of this thread. It really sucks that there are so many people out there looking to scam hard working folks. That truly makes me sick to my stomach. Seeing the outcome of this, warms my heart. That is an above and beyond approach from William to help out a fellow forum member. Kudos to you sir! To the OP, if there's anything that I've learned...it's that karma is a b'*^+!! What goes around, will definitely come back around! Beautiful watch that you now have!

I was just wondering whatever happened with this and I'm glad to see the fantastic outcome. William, you are truly a class act.

Schnipples24 has most definitely been vindicated. The seller (Anothernewphone) is a scumbag, pure and simple. His contact info should be posted here so that others doing research can read this thread...just in case he pops up somewhere else trying to scam someone else.
