Your watch is not an authentic Rolex.

Thanks for the pictures. I’m surprised Lee Michaels would offer to buy that from you. Good luck OP.

Bezel looks teal to me, but could just be my monitor. Or an aftermarket bezel.

There is a long list of reasons this is not a genuine Rolex. This forum isn’t the spot for this to be discussed. Best of luck, and hopefully the watch gifted has sentimental value. Often that’s more important than its monetary value.

Where do you discuss it at? Is there another place? The forum says general discussion

Lee Michaels is an authorized Rolex Dealer. If they say the watch is legitimate, I would go with their assessment.

I dunno, I was surprised when they said it was, but I'm new here and there are allot of "no its fake" going on here. Don't know how often they are right vs wrong, but I can always have a different dealer look at it. We have another one here in town, never hurts to get a second opinion. Either way it was given to me so no harm done either way just would have been cool to be real, might could have passed it down to my Oldest son one day.

Lee Michael did have the watch in their hand for about 20 minutes looking at it and taking it apart, only reason I might still have a little hope its real

TRF is a forum for discussion of authentic Rolex watches.

If you want to discuss yours, there are plenty of Reproduction Sites that will be happy to tell you all about yours and theirs.

Part of the rules of the forum don’t allow discussion of fake watches.

Take the watch to another AD and get it checked

I’m no expert of course, but the more pics you post, now it has begun to look off to me

Best of luck!

How is it possible someone gifts you a Rolex and you are not sure if it’s real? Shouldn’t the circumstances surrounding the gift and person giving it to you tell you if it’s real?

So you’re questioning the fact that your dad may have gifted you a fake watch?!

Sorry, OP. That is not authentic.

Make a mental note not to run another watch past whoever told you it was.

Can you not just ask your dad where he acquired the watch? And for how much?
