Hey guys not too worry

A great time was had by all. Lower numbers than the summer but still great to catch up Dan, Paul, Nathan, Dino and me met at Salon QP at spent a few hours gazing at some unbelievable time pieces both historic and new. If only I had a few mill available in my watch fund......... But did see a JLC re-issue 1959 Memovox diver which is itching really baaaaaaad ;-)

Then back to the Dickens for a few snifters and some great banter with like minded guys. And clearly some amazing watches ...... Dan's black face new 42 Explorer looked very smart and the first one I had seen in the flesh Paul's Red sub (beautiful) was seriously nice but who's acquisition is apparently blamed on me Paul also had a sweet GMT IIc and Seiko Diver

Dino's LV was sublime as was his new Breitling (very sweet). Nathan is always a bit out there and last time was sporting Panerai.... This time Nathan was wearing a really nice Bremont - very coooool Gabriel was sporting a super sweeeeeeeet transitional 16800

David, Stefano and Paul (Ayecarumba) from the US of A turned up a little later (Stefano) with a stunning new 14060M. Paul (Ayecarumba) very kindly gave Dan a thank you plaque with some auspicious wording - a very nice touch

I then had to leave ( friends birthday dinner to go to) and Dino and I rushed for the tube.

But great GTG and can't wait for the next one......

All I all a great day and can't wait for the summer GTG

Wich JLC are you thinking about the US or the EU version? That is one of very few JLC I really like to add myself

Hi Thomas..... I knew you could help

I'm not sure which and need to do some research. Dan mentioned there were two versions so I need to check them out. Do you have photos of the two types?

The one I saw today was most probably the EU version.

Steve, these JLCs are yummy. If you do a quick search, there were a couple of threads about these two retro pieces when it was announced earlier this year I think (on iPhone ATM).

Personally I think I like the EU version, as I think the US version has an unbalanced dial text

Thx Paul.... looks good

I think finding one will be the difficult part...... I phoned JLC in Bond Street and they already had a waiting list of 12 for the EU version and were expecting just 2-3 to be available.....
