Houston Service

Any good Houston based watch service companies that are trusted?

Avoid this one

Please learn from my mistake and avoid I.W. Marks. I highly recommend Tommy Taylor, R.W.T. on the forum. He's based in Austin, but that wasn't an issue. If it's vintage he's your guy!

Austin is kinda somewhere between Houston and Abilene...

What have you got?

I'll help if I can.

James at Hal Martins on Westheimer Road is highly recommended. He has done several services for me in the past with great results and fast turnaround

Hoping someone with some experience with Houston retailers could help me out a bit.

Last week I dropped my submariner on the tile and broke the crystal, and need it serviced. I was originally just planning on taking it to the Deutsch & Deutsch galleria store thinking all ADs were service centers. It wasn't until checking out the Rolex website that I found that the closest RSC is in Dallas.

So my question is, should I bring it to D&D in the Galleria? Or send it to Dallas? Or will D&D end up sending it to Dallas themselves? If I take it to D&D or another local shop, will I get the 2yr service warranty?

If you want RSC, then send it to Dallas.

I've personally found local competent shops to replace crystals and do basic COA service - at a much lower cost than sending it to RSC.

I recently had a very good experience at Swiss Watch Company. Across from Galleria. Been in business for some time and does have a Rolex "parts accounts".
