Collection Update

I just added to the collection today, so I thought I would take a group shot.

Nicely done, Dan. Huge congrats on the Speedmaster.

Any chance of a wrist shot? What's your thoughts on it against the Daytona?

There are still 3 empty slots - what are you going to do about it

Thanks Eric. I did post a wrist shot in the other portion of the forum, however I shall include one here as well.

There is definitely a difference. Sits lower but the dial is bigger. Haven't worn the Speedy long enough to say much more yet, but I do like it and I think it looks gorgeous or I wouldn't have gotten it in the first place. Still Luv the Daytona though.

I had many more empty slots not long before this. Its a work in progress, but I am making progress. As always I do have some ideas. There is so little time, but so many real nice watches.

Thanks, I have a few single boxes, but to be honest I kind of enjoy getting them out every once and awhile and winding them.

Great collection Dan! The Speedmaster is a fantastic addition....congratulations. Whilst they have the same complication I think the Daytona and Speedmaster are miles apart. I actually find that my Speedy has tended to compete more with my SS subs than Daytona in the rotation....The Daytona (especially now I have the black dial also) is a very different mood watch for me... because of the finish on the watch it wears more classy than the sub/speedy. Will be interesting to see how you feel.

Nice!!! How in the world do you decide which one to wear? That collection in my hands would be like putting me in a round room and telling me to go sit in the corner.

Yep, pretty much how I feel. I actually rotate between the GMTCII, SUBLV,and Speedy PRO during the week.

The Daytona for me is something I reserve for more special occaisions, or just relaxing at home.

Usually it's not that hard. However if a I am a bit undecided, I just pick one eventually. Either way I am still going to be wearing a really nice watch.
