Icon10 4d Ultra Sound

So as some of you may know my wife and I are expecting our first children in December. A boy and a girl!

Well today we had an appointment with our high risk OB and he used a 4D ultra sound machine. Amazing!!

I don't mean to sound like my grandfather but the technology is absolutely amazing.

I thought I would share some of the images.

The 1st 3 pictures are the girl-Addison Brooke Forehand-She is 13oz as of today

The last 2 pictures are of Jackson Matthew Forehand-He is 1 pound right now. Half way through he decide to be camera shy and turn over so all we could see was his back and arms.

I am 190lbs right now

My wife is ...... lbs Yeah right I'm gonna tell that

They are amazing. When my wife was pregnsnt i wanted a 4d every week just to see my son. Of course we only did three times as more is told to be bad for the kid.

And congrats btw!

Congrats!

I did a bus development consulting gig for an ultrasound company. 4D is a marketing gimick since there is no such thing. 3D are the still images and "4D" are the video clips of a 3D scan

Having my little girl 2 1/2 years ago was the best thing that has ever happened to me. You are going to love the ride!

What is a 4D ultrasound? Does it show the progress of the fetus along the space/time continuum? I'm confused.

Space is the 3rd dimension and time is the 4th dimension, think that's right. Jon you most likely know more then me it sounds.

A math model that combines space and time into a continuum, would that be the 4th dimension ? That wouldn't be a model anymore if they can do it on an ultra sound now.

Now I'm lost
