bi metal daytona - legitimate?

Hi,

Not sure if my picture has attached properly as using my smartphone and haven't uploaded a picture before.

I am considering my second Rolex purchase. A friend of a friend is selling a bi metal daytona with a white with has arabic numbers on the dial. Never seen this before on a white dial? Can somebody with a trained eye help me out on it?

Thanks

certainly not available now, older zeenith had a similar dial, i am not sure if it carried over to the new model in the first few years, get more pics to authenticate the watch overall

It looks okay from one picture, but more should be taken in order to authenticate 100%..

Looks like a dial swap into a newer 116523. Looks good, but I'd like
To see the case back and clasp.

You can't swap a 16xxx dial for a 116xxx or vice versa. The subdials on Zenith models are in a different position.

To the OP: Get a shot of the movement or have an AD check it out to be sure. If that dial was never made for a 116523 either the dial or watch is bogus.

I know this, I was saying maybe the gold Arabic numeral design carried over to the new model duals which are different of course in the first few years.
