$5950 out the door for brand new PAM 90 with warranty?

The guy said if I want it I have to pick it up by tommorow. Very reputable jeweler that I bought my Rolex Submariner from. Should I pull the trigger?

go for it. I recently bought a 337 with full kit, including a registration card to send to
Panerai in New York, from an AD for >5K. sometimes dealers have to move stock.

Ok. I'm doing it. So excited. After my Sub this is my next Luxury watch. Anything special I need to know. After a little over a year of Rolex ownership I think I maintain it well. Is it possible to overwind the Panerai? If I wear my Rolex one day and the Panerai the next will both keep sufficient power reserve? Anything special to take care of the Alligator strap?

Like most autos you can't overwind.

Power reserve on my 312 is about 3 days. I'd go to Panerai.com and check yours.

Re: taking care of your strap...Don't bend your strap against the buckle to remove it...presuming it's a tang set up. Google the Rob Montana video of how to take off your strap to see the easy way to do it.

Oh..and don't get it wet if you can help it.

Congrats! Exciting times. With the quick change buttons on your 90, you'll be changing straps with ease, which is part of the fun of Panerai ownership. Looking forward to the pics. :-)

I have seen Rubber looking ones that say Officine Panerai on them. Where do you get those?

I thought each PANERAI comes with one. What size 24mm or 22mm?

Both my Pams came with both a leather and rubber strap. eBay seem to have plenty of genuine and aftermarket ones.
