Icon20 233 is the most accurate watch I've ever own

At the begining my 233 was losing 4 seconds daily.. It lasted 3 months like this. Then I stopped the watch and reset the time again using the USNO Atomic watch website and the ios app. Then it started gaining time and finally it is 2 seconds forward than the actual atomic time. Every night the watch rests flat face up. And for the last 2 weeks it keeps accurate time and as I said just two seconds forward the actual USNO atomic time.. The watch is 5 years old and never serviced.. Just wanted to share ..

Funny you should say this about the about the accuracy of Panerai because I've been scratching my head over the accuracy of my 689. It's gained a total of 14 seconds over the last 15 days, which I find quite remarkable. It's more accurate than any of my Rolexes and I'm not even sure it's COSC certified.

@Ruud Van Driver

14 seconds over 15 days is extremely good. What more can you ask for? That is just +1 seconds per day. COSC spec is -4/+6 seconds/Day. Even Rolex's standard is -2/+2 seconds per day.

Since we are talking about accuracy, my 562 (P.5000) is extremely accurate which I am very proud of and happy about. Over the 8-Days (Full wind) the watch keep less than a second fast for 9 days. I actually did an experiment on this watch of mine. Synchronizing with my iPad and monitoring the watch/pad daily.

Before my 359 went tits up, it had gained three seconds in a week, which is extremely impressive. Are Panerai generally accurate time pieces or are mine particularly good (putting to one side that my 359 is now unwell)?

My 351 has been running +1 per day for 3 weeks which was very impressive. But yesterday when I placed it crown up and left for work in the morning, it ran -7secs slower when I returned in the evening. And today morning I checked, it only gained 0.5sec since yesterday evening. Weird...
