Beautiful, but those poor, poor crown guards. The photos on the Fellows website show them a little better ... and they've been polished to near points. I wonder if the UK RSC did that during the recent service.

They(Rolex) polished the lugs on my 1016 to be nearly pointed, it's being fitted with the correct T22 domed crystal at the moment, I pick it up on Saturday, I'll post a load of photos and ask advice from the good people here.

in the auction description:
"Dial appears to be in an average condition with some light marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe" they also say the "Case appears to be in good condition with minor scratches and marks. Rotating bezel rotates" if they say the case is good and the dial is average, you kind of wonder what we are missing from the photos of the dial.... |

TBH I've never seen a Rolex listed on fellows without that description, it's a vintage watch, you have to cover all your bases I suppose!
It's best to loon at a combination of both pics, like I said my photography skills are not the best! |
