Need the Pro Photographers of trf for this one :)

I have a Canon EOS Rebel XS and I want to take macro-photographs of my vintage Rolex watches. I am an amateur photographer and I need advice on what lenses to use and whether or not there is a guide or a book that I can purchase in order to learn how to perfect this technique; maybe it is as simple as a setting and a Macro lens?

I am using an advanced light-box so I think I have the lighting down btw.

Canon's 100mm 2.8 macro and a good tripod with light box and you will be all set.
Try f32, f22, f16 to get your desired results

There is no quick way around it. Once you have the right equipment and lighting, it is all practice and more practice.
A pair of good eyes and hands goes a long way too.

Have you though about post processing too?

Good luck and have loads of fun.

I know it will take practice but I need the right equipment first. I am going to order the lens and try it out this week; look forward to some sample pics.

Post Processing?
