Dryer Recommendation- Speed Queen

Well, my dryer crapped out and we have a new one coming in tomorrow based on a recommendation from my boss, a Speed Queen (the dryer, not my boss ). I had never heard of the brand, but he said they were what the laundrymats used.

So I went to the store and they had one on display, told the guy that's the one I wanted and he said 'Great choice, that's the one I have at home.".

Funny they weren't even included in consumer reports, so I'm hoping they live up to the hype!

I have Asko brand. We knew we would be moving frequently. Needed a brand that could stack or sit side by side. A bit small to fit in a small closet. Oh....and I have a latex allergy so can't have a hugh latex tunnel to push the clothes thru. Asko!

We've had a Speed Queen gas dryer for 24 years and it's still going strong(I hope that statement will not be the kiss of death)!!!
