422 or 005+372

I had 005 but thinking to get a 47mm one. Not sure if I need 2 PAM. If you were me, would you add 372 or trade 005 and get 422?

My current small collection include Rolex YG+diamond 118238, Bluesy, Hulk, BLNR and PAM 005, if the information helps.

Not sure I'd trade the 005 and I'm not a,fan of the 372. It's too big (for me) and I wouldn't trust myself with plexi glass either. I like the 422. Is keeping the 005 and adding a 422 an option? If so, that's what I'd do.

Nothing wrong with two PAMs in a collection either. Good luck whatever you decide

Think I would hang on to the Fiver, but if the desire was strong enough the 422 would be a great 'one & only'. 372 is very nice, but lack of seconds hand rules it out for me. Ideal solution would be Fiver + 422

As others have said, it would be nice to keep the 005 and add a 422 if possible.

372 is a stunner, there is something to be said of such clean and unobstructed dial. So classy

Interesting and thanks for the suggestion.

Other than the size, won't 422 look too similar to 005? I will go for 422 if I don't have 005. However I like my 005 and it is also considered one of PAM's classic models so I am inclined to keep it.

372 and 422, just like the debate between exp 1 or Sub ND, Hulk or BLNR ...

There's your answer, right there.

I would take the 422 over the 372 as I said above, but that's just me. You have to go with what you want. Take a look at the references in signature; there had to be one there if, given the choice, you'd have gone for 'the other one' if you know what I mean.

If the 372 sings and you can rock it, go for it

372 since you already have the seconds hand of the 005. Base is king

If you like and want to keep the 005, then the 372 is a no-brainier.

I voted for the option of flip the 005 for the 422. I would keep the 005 and add the 422. I like the crystal, second hand and the balance of the 422. If you keep the 005 you can always flip it later.

Another thought: if you worry about overlap and want a 47mm base, I suggest to 232 to pair with your 005.

I personally cannot pull off a 422 but assuming you are comfortable with it, if it were me, I would just get a 422. Sure you can have more than 1 pam but for me it would just not get enough wrist time and the 422 is just perfect as I prefer to have a running seconds hand on the dial.

The PR indicator and seconds hands plus sapphire is hard to ignore in 422

The warmth of an acrylic crystal is irresistible. Daily use is fine if you keep some Polywatch around.
