Authentication Help. Explorer II 21657
Hi! New member here and wanted to see if anyone can help me authenticate this Rolex. It's a Explorer II 21657.
This was bought off a friend that I trust, but he received it as a gift from a business partner in Hong Kong. Everything was provided (receipt, boxes, warranty card, manuals, and tags. He says he is pretty sure it's real but to have me check and be happy about it before he cashes the check. From what I gather from the informative posts here, it points to it being real. - LEC was spotted with a flashlight at an angle and a lot of squinting. - Serial number matches warranty card and green plastic tag. - Received the wax looking tag with hologram. - Nothing to me at least looks out of sorts on the watch. - Movement is doing what it's supposed to do. (24hr hand is working, hacking) - Plain back case. - Magnifier works. The only thing is the warranty card is from Italy i think with the country code of 170. but the watch was bought in Hong Kong. I looked up the dealer name and it comes up an AD. But I'm no expert, this is my first rolex. I hope I can get some opinions on this. Thanks for the help in advance! |

From the photos provided, the watch appears genuine to me. I'm sure others will offer their opinions.

All looks 100% from the pictures you provided. Sometimes best for peace of mind though to take it to AD and get the back off.

I would love to know what he looked at inside that he could not have told from outside that watch was genuine

I told him that everything was good to go. And he agreed. It was my request to open it to be sure, taking the advice from a previous reply. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
