This is indeed a challenging choice! The more that I look at pictures of the 5320G, the more I grow to like it; I think that the case is very interesting and well designed, but cannot come to terms with the cream-coloured lacquer dial in particular.
There is perhaps a compromise within the Patek Philippe catalogue that I think is a better selection to my eye, the 5327G-001. |

Edit: just like on the 5327G above.

Ahhhhhh, I got it. I know you're a PP guy, but, is that why the AP JA Chrono has that same colored dial?

I would like your take on the luster of the dial. One review/blog felt it was too shiny. I am looking to do this watch but it looks like its fairly well spoken for here in the US for this year. |

I haven't gotten one, nor did I order one. This pic is from the Patek reveal of the 2017 Basel pieces at my local AD a few months ago.

5170 and it's not even close!
Or, that incredibly beautiful 5327 that was posted above. Good God, those Breguet numerals, that blue dial, the leaf hands...

Personally 5320. Based off of its casual look and useful reference, it would get more wrist time compared to the 5170P. I also have quite a few chronos in my collection, one AC, but no PC.

I have also ordered calf strap with prong buckle similar to 5524 to dress down further
