I don't believe anything further is to be gained here..
It seems there are certainly unanswered questions to be had, but speculations without facts are not what we are here for.

If an acquaintance does happen to contact him, or finds facts on why this member is no longer communicating, by all means post a follow up thread with details.
I'm sure Steve (returntorolex), would be appreciative.
