The 36mm is the classic size Rolex. My 36mm white dial DateJust, looks good on my 7 1/2 wrist. It actually gets more wrist time than my SS Submariner Date. It’s the quintessential Rolex.

Going to Tiffany's web site shows that it really isn't their color; theirs has much more green in it!!! See below!!

Well expect to get called out on it. It's not even close to Tiffany blue. Look for yourself.

Agreed with you. Don’t rule it out solely on the size of the wrist. But see how it looks and feels

You're right. It's surely more green... But I will say that in person it is damn close in a lot of different light. Closer than I expected upon trying it in person after receipt of the OP41. I tried to find light where the Tiffany shows very green.

I think the 36mm looks great on you.

Personally think it looks better to see more of the oyster bracelet on each side of your wrist w/ 36mm vs pic with 41mm. Bracelet is a great part of the watch and sets off that lovely dial.

Post a pic once you decide and have the watch.

OP wrist looks closer to 6.5 inch to me and 36mm looks suitable.

Not so much Tiffany green. To me the colour looks closer to Sean Connery's baby-blue terry-towelling onesie from Goldfinger

I have a 6.75” wrist. 41mm is the way to go.
Tiffany, Turquoise Blue, who cares. Call it what you like. All I know is I absolutely love this watch. I was fortunate enough to get one a month after the release from my AD. I’m hoping everyone gets an opportunity sooner than later to get there hands on an OP of their liking.

Great watch and the cat pic reminds me of our beloved cat (Bailey) who recently passed away. I miss the little fella so so much.

I’m sorry to hear that soultime. My cats name is Tiger. I’ve had him since he was a kitten. He is 12 years old.

Taking wrist shots makes the watch appear bigger than it does in real life. So I would also recommend you going for the 41, especially as that was your inclination as well.

I'm new to watches only been collecting seriously for the last 18 months but I am confused as to what is a 'Tiffany Dial' and why this turquoise dial on the OP is getting nicknamed Tiffany.

Can anyone help me out please.

Perfect - it’s the “SC Onesie” dial. Settles the argument good and proper.

If you want the 36mm, some guy is trying to sell one right now in the classifieds for more than $10,000!! He just reduced it to $9,900 but that's just insanity.

Hey, what's a $4,000 2-day profit amongst friends?

My SA half-jokingly (maybe not) told me "if this turns up online for $11,000 you're dead to me". Lol

Ha ha, yeah it's just insane. Reminds me of Tulip bulbs and Enron.

I bought my blue Explorer dial 36mm OP in August, right before Rolex discontinued the dial, and there was a guy over on Wachuseek in September trying to get $6k for one. I thought that was nuts. This is absurd though.

The 36 mm looks good as is. The dial is a nice color.

I think, however, because there is such a thing as a Rolex dial with the word “Tiffany” on it, this should not be called a “Tiffany dial.” In fact, when I saw the title of this thread, I wondered whether there is now a new co-branded Rolex with the Tiffany name on it,

Some people call stained glass lamps from the late 19th century “Tiffany lamps,” when they aren’t. There is such a thing as a Tiffany lamp. But, it’s a lamp with a stained glass shade actually made by Tiffany.

Given how many knockoffs there are of Rolex watches, and how hard it is to build the name of a quality brand (Tiffany, for instance, is high quality), I like to protect the integrity of a brand name by using it precisely. Obviously anyone is free to describe this watch as having a “Tiffany blue dial” but it’s not a “Tiffany dial.”

Exactly this.
Have to accept that no everbody here can follow this argument.

For sure close enough to Tiffany Blue to call it that. Geez people, some of you complaining call the other nick names that aren't even close

Light blue or baby blue color has been identified with Tiffany & Co. jeweler.
