Question about my DJ 36

Hello everybody ,sorry for my English.I have question about my DJ 36.I’m 2 years ago got from AD DJ 41 blue sticks smooth and oyster , there in AD salesperson old lady said, dj36 only for women, get only 41.I was hay it after 2 months I found SubC, and sold DJ41 because scratchmagnit and looks to big for dress watch. In September I found grate deal for dj36 blue , Roman , Jubilee like I’m thinking grate dress watch . Now I’m after 2 years used subC and speedy , always thinking it too small. My wrist 7 inch, I’m 5.8 . What you can say sale it or it looks good and I’m thinking stupid. Thank you for understanding.

It looks fine. 36mm was the traditional mans watch size. If you like it, keep it.

The size looks great on you. I personally don't like the 116234 and would rather have the 126234 due to end link shape, lug shape, etc. But if you like it, the size is great for you.

The 36mm looks much better on you. Plus, the Jubilee is a huge improvement. (Just my opinion.)

Look good, 36mm is classic size, u can’t go wrong. And all watch sizes are subjective to each own.

Anyone who tells you a 36 is "a ladies watch" is one of two things:
An idiot -
or more likely -
a hungry-for-a-commission sales person trying to up-sell you to a larger, more expensive model.
Get what YOU want and the heck with what anyone ELSE has to say or think.

Looks good. 36mm DateJust is a classic Rolex. I personally have a 36mm, White dial, 36mm DateJust. It gets more wrist time than my SS Submariner Date. And my wrist size is 7 1/2 inches. I personally don’t follow trends, as they come and go. A classic, traditional watch is timeless.

The AD wanted to make a sale. Keep your 36mm DateJust. It’s very versatile, dress, or sporty.

I love wearing my 36 mm DJ, and I also love wearing my 34 mm Air King. They both look great on my wrist. I am done with watches larger than 40 mm... just too big for me.

My dress watch is also a DJ36... I am a CIS male, and dont feel girly at all when I wear it, even though it has girly diamond markers. :D

Wear it well.... it looks great!

There is nothing wrong with DJ36, its a classic and will always remain.

Although to my eyes the DJ41 looks better. I wish Rolex made a 39mm variant. It fits average wrists like a glove. Ala old Subs/GMTs.

I concur, 36mm DJ is perfect for you. I had 42mm Breitling, 42 and 41mm Omega's and a DJ2. Yep, after the new wore off they were just to big. I own a OP116000 and a DJ 126200 now. Looks better and a whole lot more comfortable. It's 36's all the way for me. Just ordered a 1926 Tudor 36mm.
Enjoy the watch, more you wear it, the more you will like it!

I'll give you clear answer. If you wear full sleeve shirt or jacket, DJ36 is perfect. If you wear half sleeve shirt/Tee then it'll appear small. So, if you wear lot of full sleeve shirts then DJ36 is perfect! Enjoy!

Looks perfect to me! Love the blue roman dial. The 41 seems too big for you in my opinion.

Many 36mm watches do look small on a man, but the DJ and DD do not. They look 'right'.

I thought the 41mm DJ would be my preference and I have a ton of 42mm+ watches but when it comes to a Datejust, 41mm looks bulky and off balance.

So lots of us have said we like it on you - but only you should decide !
