Man that is a gorgeous piece! Photos do make the watch looked too big, it looked out of place. Good luck with your decision just make u are not going to get buyer remorse!

If it makes you happy, wear it. It’s large, but not obnoxiously so.

I was not a OF Skydweller fan at first, but that is a beautiful watch.

I love this Rhodium dial. I'm thinking of changing my sundust dial to this dial but man not sure if I would regret that long term.

It looks ok on you Op. Is the oysterflex secured properly or just hanging there? Because if its hanging it will give an image of it being bigger which its not.

He mentioned it isn’t sized.

Looks borderline, but if you like it, that’s all that really matters and I would rock it! Such a great watch. As others have mentioned, it’s a bit difficult to get a sense of this watch on your wrist since the photos are quite close up.

Looks a bit large but buy what YOU like not us, you have to live with it every day. That dial is to die for, a beautiful watch. If you like it, buy it.

It is. I owned a 2 tone for about a month. I just didn’t like how Large it for. Felt like one of those inviticus watches or whatever you call them at the mall. Even my explorer 2 felt big. Bummer because I really like the sky d. If this shrink the watch down it would be a home run

Close up photos on the wrist like that never give an accurate representation. Take a picture from a distance in the mirror so you can see it in comparison to your body, that’s a better representation of how the watch looks on you.

SkyDweller is one of the bigger Rolex watches. It certainly will be big for 6.5 wrist. Point is if you want to wear a big watch on your wrist or not. Some people wear it and some don't like. There is no particular rule.

I measured the top of my wrist and it was right past 50 mm wide. The lug to lug for the sky dweller is 51 mm so it just fit just right with no over hang with the bracelet sized.

Having formally owned one on the bracelet, and also having 6.5in wrists, I would say that this is probably larger than you should go.

Too big, lugs extend off the wrist. I know this issue all too well.

Yes.

I love the SkyD too. I have a 7in wrist and have tried on the SkyD several times. I felt like I could wear it. But it’s the largest watch I’d wear. Personally.

• Close up photos are not recommended in determining a watch’s size against someone’s wrist. I would take new photos from afar in a full body mirror. That is a very good indicator of how it fits against not only your wrist, but forearm, etc.

I have a 6.5 inch and rock a SS SkyD. It’s at the upper end of what I feel comfortable with, but I get many, many compliments on it. Looks normal on my arm, but in a close up photo it would look huge. I’d say 6.5 inch and up is the best size for a SkyD.

OP - I think you can definitely wear this. Just take new photos in a body mirror to give you a better idea. Ditch the long sleeve when doing so.
Great advice. I’ll add that I have a 6.5” wrist and own a SS SkyD. It’s big but I like it just fine. I don’t mind big watches so... At the end of the day, do YOU like the watch? I love mine.

NO. Your wrist is too small. You could wear so many great references for that same money or less watches so well.

I am on the opposite side of the spectrum and I am jealous

Panerai looks about the same on my wrists when I take close ups but absolutely fine when take from a few feet away in front of a mirror.

It's a big watch but if you love it and enjoy wearing it then go for it imo

I tried one a few months ago, absolutely loved the watch! However with a 6.75" flat wrist I felt it was just a little too big for me.

I'd say it looks great! Camera angles + close-ups are deceiving.

But, I only go with watches for which I have zero doubt, so, maybe this one isn't for you?

If you're happy with it, get it. No one else will give it a second thought.
