00724

Just ordered my 00724 from my AD in Melbourne - he'll let me know when it comes in... looking forward to adding this one to my collection. Had a good look at it while I was in Dubai a few days ago... love the blue on the seconds hand...

cheers

Lovin these Americas Cup editions. What a great piece to relax in the beach or on the water with. Good choice!

My AD contacted me last night and said it should be here in the third week of June...can't wait (of course)... I'm also getting a blue alligator strap for when I want to "dress" it up a bit... photos to follow upon collection.
This will be my second Panerai, maybe the third will be a "bronzo" ... they are very nice...
Thanks for all your kind words.

cheers

Congrats. The colors are great. I wanted that exact model but having a 560 already, I couldn't justify it. Iplease snap some real world pics when it arrives.

What does a 00724 look like?

Only thing I found on Google was an electrical plug connector.

Found it, very nice but you may need to change the caseback to Team New Zealand.

My AD rang..."bad news"... there's been some sort of stuff up in the ordering process and the watch won't be here till the first week of July (so NOT too far).. oh well these things happen... and the manager (who is on a watch junket in Paris) contacted me as well to apologise..he's a very nice guy and it's out of their control so what the heck I'll just have to wait another couple of days...
so stay tuned... it will happen... just not as quickly as I would like...

cheers

My AD just sent me an e-mail - he's just landed back in Sydney after a week away in Europe playing with all things Breitling...one more short flight to Melbourne and he'll check with his staff tomorrow morning re my watch...hopefully it will be good news...or maybe a good discount for my patience ...
He's also getting a price on the PAM 692 for me...I'm definitely "interested" in that piece... so we'll see what tomorrow morning brings...

cheers

Latest news... it's on it's way and I should get it on the 13th or 14th of July...apparently the piece was held at the boutique in Singapore for "an event" and it now has to make it's way to Australia...
lots of e-mails back and forth with my AD - he's done a great job keeping me informed all the way... he's even trying to get me some goodies from Panerai as a way of saying "sorry" for having to wait so long for this ref.
We'll see what happens... not holding my breath...
Anyway it's a case of "all's well that ends well"...and it'll be even better when I get my hands on it...

cheers
