Today June 21 2017 new Panerai 731

Launching e-commerce with a retro throw-back "contemporary" model? Why not? Looks great! Cool to see the Bettarini case and inverted cyclops getting some love. I also find the polished case and brushed bezel to be quite striking.

Thanks for the head's up, Nick.

Here are a few "live" pics from p.com:

i wonder how the e-commerce model for the 731 is doing...sold out? I read that they have a liberal return policy...

I ordered and received today. Very nice watch, albeit a PAM 24 with a dark blue face. 30-day return policy but the hang tags need to be on the bands.

Nice, congrats!!

What's the situation with the lugs? Quick change? Screws? Spring bar? There are conflicting photos on the internet....

Thanks for the info.

So, that's another change from the 24 besides the dial.

they may have changed over then - look at the Panerai website and in the pics of the 24, you can see screws. Also FWIW, my 24A is screws, but that was before quick change.

As far as I can tell, Panerai's website only shows the 1024 - I thought the 24 was discontinued?

Yeah you are right... I forgot about the whole 1000 series. I guess they switched over the 1024 to screws as well.
