Plebes And Footballers.

Yet again, another over paid overgrown child (A Footballer) has found it within his heart to show a girl some of his special brand premiership loving. By which I mean he was unable to control his lust and thought that his position as a footballer gave him right to rape her.

Simply entering the words "football" and "rape" together in yahoo or google bring up over 10 pages of results for news stories.

Is it really the case that the dumb pointless idolisation, of these no brainers by the general public, really lead them to believe their semi-god like status. They drink and drive, speed dangerously and of course rape young girls.

Now I'm not naive enough to think that ALL of the girls who have cried rape aren't just doing it out of regret. But there has to be some shred of truth in some of these allegations, after all they are flying around every few months now.

I say give womens football more publicity than mens, and see if they let it go to their bloody heads.

In my view most of all these so called Celebrities footballers most are overpaid spoilt childish ars#holes

I can accept that many of them have a high level of skill and dexterity, but that's about as far as it goes. The wages bear no commercial reality and all sense of proportion has been lost.

If you take someone from a deprived background and little by way of academic qualifications and suddenly throw £50,000 or £150,000 a week at them, they begin to believe that they are some kind of demi-god - an image that is then borne out and reinforced by the tabloid press.

This then helps them to feel that they are in some way either above the law, or at the very least beyond reproach for their actions.

There must be some argument for making it compulsory to pay the major part of their salaries into a trust fund or pension fund for the life of their playing careers and restricting take home pay to, say, £250,000 year or so.
we cannot let then go without, poor sods.

This would avoid them going on the rampage due to the easy money and would also help to avert penury in later life once they've blown the entire wad by their mid-thirties.

It's sad but true. In a large number of cases, whilst these people can play football some very well, they haven't a clue when it comes to managing other aspects of their lives. Therefore a helping hand would be a mercy!
And may help in keeping control of there trouser snake, and to protect
young girls/ men from this sometimes venomous beast.

And furthermore, the nest egg would go a fair way to buying a replacement liver when the time comes.

That’s exactly why I quit this job! At some point in time I made 68,000 Euro a week, owned a mansion and the largest privately owned penthouse in Rotterdam (with swimming pool on top, my ‘pad’), a Range Rover Sport SE, a Porsche Cayenne, a Bentley Continental and a small Lexus (all in black of course) plus the watches from several pages in the Rolex A4 catalogue.

But something inside snapped the moment I had to fly to Rome, Milan and London in my private jet, surrounded by gorgeous women, drinking 40 year old Malts and Ports, just to pick up my hand-made suits and shoes. This was too much.

So every Friday, when I bring out the garbage bags which will leak their horrible smelling content over my shoes (if I’m lucky), I think to myself: “Frans, you made the right decision to part will all of this and toil along for 66K a year. Stick to that new job as IT Coordinator like glue!"

Frans.

Yeah? Try quitting the NBA, become a foot shorter and switching to psychology!

I smell a Monty Python hijack coming up.

I had to do a quick Google because I did not know what you meant, another sign of old age.

Frans.
I've thought of doing the same thing, Frans. But then I consider all the people who would be out of work: the servants who staff the 20 room penthouse apartment in New York, the 15 room flat in London, the chateau outside Paris; the aircrews who fly me to all my homes and yachts; yes, and the crew who staff the yachts I maintain in Monte Carlo, Miami, (and a few other places, I can't recall at the moment). I mean, after all, I have a responsibility to keep all these people employed and off welfare.

So I guess for the good of society, I will continue to maintain this difficult and strenuous lifestyle, It's a burden, but, after all, someone has to do it.

Hey Ed, Tam and I would like to manage your flat in London and I'm good with airplanes too

What was this thread about Oh yeah those tosser footballers. It's the same here. Bunch of overpaid cretan. It's the public's fault in a way. If they weren't idolized so much and people stopped going to the games and buying the merchandise, the footballers would just be a bunch of dumb blokes kicking a ball in a field.

That's why I don't watch team sports. I like individual sports like golf and tennis. You either make it on your own or you don't

But you know, you were right to start with. I will not name the two Dutch footballers (both just in their very early twenties), but they fit the bill 100%. Trashing their BMW M3’s, causing deadly accidents, beating women, the list is endless. Both don’t play here anymore, our country becomes too small to quick for those guys.

But it’s all about bread and play I guess.
