2 years this month Larry, the Wuhan China Virus closed the orthodontics office down for 4 months so I’m way behind. Bottom teeth are perfect top need some more adjustments. I did have to take a small dremel to smooth the inside bottom edges of upper Invisalign trays for the first 3-4 trays, they really irritated my gums. I used Polident to kill any bacteria then used a soft brush with regular tooth paste.

Good luck

Another dentist here. Clear aligners work. Several different brands to choose from, with Invisalign being the best know and established out there.

Works well in many instances.

Icon10 Invisalign - - Anyone Used It?

~UPDATE~

I just picked up another 5 sets of 13 Invisilign trays at my dentist today.

It has been almost 1-Year and I have been wearing these Invisalign trays switching them weekly except when they have to order a new round as you have to wait a few weeks to get them.

This is CrAzY how long it is taking. I thought this would be a 6-month process at the maximum. Man was I wrong!

I'm confident the end results will be achieved but if you are thinking about getting them be prepared, it could be a long journey!

Hopefully you're pleased w/the progress so far. You'll get there!

I used Invisalign for a year and highly recommend. I like that I could see how my teeth were gradually moving into alignment. Wish my childhood orthodontist had told me that I'd need to use a retainer after all those years of wearing braces and -- raise your hand if you remember -- headgear, the fashion statement that every elementary and junior high school boy was so eager to make!! Very happy no photographic evidence exists from that time.

Yep! I had braces for 3 years 7th, 8th and freshman HS. Headgear, hated it! I wish I would have at least gotten the metal retainer peice on my bottom front teeth.

Teeth are moving but just taking more time. I'll be happy when they are in place and I only have to wear the retainer at night.

I’m 28 and began my Invisalign treatment February 2020 and finished in December 2020. I was fortunate to have my adult teeth grow in straight, but just had some very minor crowding. I’m pretty meticulous about my smile and my company pays for 50% of orthodontic treatment so it was a no brainer.

I would’ve finished 2.5 months sooner but I still wanted some tweaks done after my refinement set finished. My orthodontist said most providers will try to complete adults treatment plans within a year or less depending on the correction needed. All in all, Invisalign is legit and you’ll be happy with the end results. Just make sure to be diligent about your retainers so the teeth don’t shift again.

Had braces when I was a teen but my upper jaw grew inward and thus my top teeth have slightly followed suit. Either way, my first sets should be here in a couple of weeks.

Going to hurt a lot (or a bit depending on pain threshold) initially and potentially with updated trays. If you wear a retainer every night for a good 7-10 years after finishing treatment, very large probability your teeth will be pretty set. They'll always move slightly over time if you don't wear a retainer after that, but should be very minimal. So either wear the retainer often early for good number of years or wear every few nights for life. Great product design to your original question though Larry. Glad you found them helpful.

Second set of trays and the bottom one cracked! I'm losing confidence with this company!
