Thanks Adrian! Yeah we're toying with autum. It was raining buckets today, and when I went for a walk to take the pics, it was so humid I was sweatin' my arse off. Now I'm sat on the porch with a fleece on!
Cheers,
Bruce

Thanks guys!

How's this one?

Some on the photography forum said they liked it. Another guy was giving me grief over not enough contrast in the b&w's. It looks right to me. My camera has settings for contrast, and I have it at +1 right now. I think I probably need to crank it up a bit in general.
Cheers,
Bruce

Nice usage of the rule of thirds. As far as contrast goes, I just adjusted my monitor, maybe your friend (?) needs to adjust his.

Geez Bruce, any more contrast and all the detail in the dark leaves would be a big black blob. I'd tell the guy on the other forum to adjust his monitor (or maybe mine needs it, lol). It's a nicely lit shot ASAIK.
