Lugs don’t look even. Top lugs look different. Can you show a side view?

Uneven polish job. I’m super picky, but I think you can definitely do better.

It is overpolished. Am sure there are better examples out there.

No looks like a reasonable pre-owned example at a reasonable price. Perfect for your beater needs.

We agree it's overpolished, now it comes down to if the OP is ok with that and the price sans box, etc. The highly uneven lugs would be the deal killer for me.

Go with this one, see if you can get this price down a bit more.

It’s not too bad, crown guards are still relatively blocky, lugs have been polished but spring bar isn’t protruding. Just no more polishing in the future.

Prices on these are increasing, 4250 with no b and p isn’t too bad.

I agree with Steven here, that’s a deal breaker for me as well.

I second the comments above. I would not buy an overpolished watch

Overpolished?

Keep looking, you can do way better than that. Sold my unpolished 16570 recently, full set, for $4600

Honestly it is a little bit over polished but the price is fair. The best examples are now north of $5k. They were really under appreciated for a long time and with the SS sports craze, nearly every model is creeping up in price. If you don’t think it is good enough then be patient and look for a better example even if you pay several hundred more for it.

Neither of these watches is "overpolished".

They have both been mildly refinished, likely to take out wear and tear marks, but they both appear to have plenty of definition and contour left on the cases with no signs of improper overpolishing that would change that.

Pick the one you want and wear it on all of your adventures.

Too many choices out there to go for this poor example. Would bug me no end even if price was OK.

I agree. I found these "overpolished" comments comical. Best laughs I've had in the Watchout section in a while.

I think it depends on the OP's interest.

If you're buying it hoping for it retain value and trade up later, then don't. Hold off until you find the right super deal.

If you're buying it to keep and wear forever, understanding that, over the years, you'll wear it and beat it up and love it and the price is right for you; then I say go for it.

Don't let perfection be the enemy of your happiness. Understand what you're doing and getting and you'll be fine.
