Need help please.

Hello TRF members, i'm going tommorow to purchase this watch and i need some advice on it, it's serial#2xxxxx made 1967-1969 and no box or papers i will be spending $5000 on it here are 3 pic's of it.
please let me know what you think.

Looks good and I think the price is reasonable with the original band. I love those old day dates! Congrats and welcome.

Watch looks good, the band has a lot of stretch and I think it is aftermarket. Do you have better pictures of the clasp and the hallmarks. Is the crystal plastic? It should be. Take a loop and look at the dial from the side. The script should be raised and not flat. If it is flat it has been refinished.

Make sure the serial number and model number are between the lugs. There should be three screws on one side of the bracelet and four on the other. The screws should be gold as well as the spring bars.

Watch looks good, as mentioned, I think the price is a little high though..

One must take into account if the watch got run over by a truck the scrap gold is worth $1,348.00, after it is refined and made into solid bricks the gold is worth $2,692.00 spot gold price.
