AP can not-only increase price but history proved they can reduce MSRP too.

It's been so many increases (US pricing) that I can't even remember this ever happening -- though I know it did, at least once.

Here's to hoping they drop prices when gold prices and/or the USD strengthens.

I honestly doubt it, though. I wouldn't drop prices if I was them.

That said, I wouldn't raise prices twice in two months for the third largest market.

Nothing yet. Perhaps these rumors are not true.

Think maybe cause it’s weekend, they’re waiting for Monday to update?

As the WoS link above shows they already raised their MSRP prices so there should be definitely something imminent, although it could be only UK prices going up?

I heard prices are being raised here and buy two different grey dealers here in the US. Both of them told me they’ve actually seen the new price list. But that is not an official word from AP IMO. It’s just a greys word. I hope they are wrong. AP pricing is obnoxious enough.

I can’t read that. Too blurry. And that appears to be European pricing not US pricing. Right?

Or they could end up having to discount them down to $25K to move them in 3 years. Nobody knows.

Unlikely we are in a different era where its cool to pay more.

years ago no body wanted these watches at half the price and they are now double and can't produce enough of them - strange

Exact same can be said on Rolex SS pieces few years ago, seems AP prices is just a few years behind the Rolex curve! Maybe new pieces being half price in preowned, but definitely Rolex 5 digits SS sports were half the price they are now.

I still remember seeing rows of 5 digit Pepsi in a pre-owned shop in HK for about $4-5k in around 2015, then 3 years later they are going double that price.

EU prices include VAT; can't do a simple conversion to USD.

Yup, although the EU prices (inclusive of tax) were generally about 20% higher than the US price without tax (at current FX). So can probably deduce from that.

Or you could just wait a few more hours for the AP site to update :)
