Friends, I'm looking for thoughts and advice about the OEM deployant made for my 45mm Radiomir Black Seal. I'm enjoying the watch a lot on its original strap and 22mm Trapezoidal buckle, and like any newbie Paneristi I'm eyeing new shoes for it already

What do you think of the 20mm OEM deployant buckle for the Radiomir? I'm thinking I might enjoy it with an OEM alligator strap, and I'll be interested to hear from members who have used it and can tell me about the fit.

The Deployment is not my favorite but it works. It came standard on my 287 and I wore it for a period of time before I changed it out for a standard strap and buckle. The straps have to be different for the deployment to attach and in the end it is an added cost that does not work for me.

Thanks for the feedback. The standard pin buckle and strap on my Radiomir now are very comfy, and they lay nice and flat against the underside of my wrist with minimal depth. I realize that the deployant increases the depth of strap/buckle components, so was it this added depth that didn't work for you? Was it a significant difference in comfort and fit?

I would like to have the functionality of the deployant, but if the standard pin buckle is significantly more comfy then I'll avoid the cost.

I have a PAM 627 and added the deployant to mine (also required a custom strap with less padding). Worth it to me as I am not a tang buckle person. I find it to be fine in terms of comfort.

I found that the deployment buckle did not fit as sung to the wrist. It was either too tight or too lose.
