Don't buy brand new as you will lose alot of money. I'm told US dealers are offering huge discounts on standard models & don't buy from boutiques. Little or no discounts there.

Hi, I have owned a men's 18K Solid Gold Chamet, with original diamonds. I know it not a well know watch in the US, it's a French brand. Just curious if anyone has an opinion on this watch? Thanks Stan

The regular ROOs don't hold much value but I know the limited edition ones hold value fairly well especially the unique ones. But those are hard to get.

depends on what you will do with it.
If you want it for the rest of your life, it doesn't make a big difference. If you know that you will sell it after 1 year a pre owned might indeed be the best option

Find an almost new pre-owned. They say low production number annually but why so many limited editons after the other. I think T3 appreciated well among the others.

I have a 2010 G AP ROO Rubber Clad--black face. I got a 35% discount on it BNIB--just got it. I can tell you that used ones that are a couple years old are selling for 35%-40% discount even used--if you can find them--not a lot of used ones out there with black face that is. Also--when buying rubber clad--have to make sure the bezel is perfect--a lot of ones have dings. This is my 3rd AP--and I will take great care of it--no dings on my other 2-one Safari and one Rubber Clad RG ROO. Great watch--highly recomend it--great resale as long as you don't pay retail!!!!!

If you buy at retail price then you will definitely take a serious setback in resale value. However getting extra discounts from dealers would save you some and buying them preowned will save you even more.

I tend to prefer to buy watches preowned unless I can't help it..

You cannot find a pre-owned ROO Themes with SS bracelet for under $14k, which means that they don't depreciate that much when compared to other brands.

A BNIB discounted would be around $16.5k so not much difference between pre-owned and brand new.

From what I've seen recently, pre-owned ROOs in top condition seem to hold value pretty well vs. the discounted price (not the list price of course) that you can usually negotiate for a new purchase.
