Dive watches

I'm starting to get a thing for diving watches, only have the sub, but a deepsea is next on my list and then a blue audemars piguet diver. but after that, Id like to get a blancpain FF from when they where and independent whatchmaker, i really like the new ones, but they seem to have lost they'r north, adding tourbillions to a dive watch. but it still has to be submariner tough. can anyone shed a light over here. oh and please, give me suggestions of which other should be on the list, im only buying divers now.

I like this one. Really nice, but I guess you already knew that.

The Blancpain FF actually preceded the Sub. There are those who say the Sub is a "Homage" to the FF!!!!

1665 doule red sea dweller, look no further that is any divers dream watch. Well in my opinion I am sure everyone has their own grail watch. It will cost you an arm and a leg to get one with a gen old dial isnt easy.

Or this one I fell in love with today jesus I cant stpo looking at her...

I am looking into vintage for blancpain just because i like who they where but not who they are right now, other than that i am no thrilled by buying vinatges, i want to age them myself jejejjeje. so a sub and a deepsea should cover it for me and rolex. that's a nice watch, but kind of reminds me of old hublots, cant really feel it.

That is a bit of a stretch considering the 50 Fathom was released for issue to the French Navy in 1953 and the Submariner was released to the public in 1954. They were so close in release that to say one is a homage to the other isn't very factual. They were both designed and in pre-production during the same time.

Maybe take a look at the Omega Ploprof. It's a watch that really has a love/hate relationship, but there's no denying it's heritage with COMEX.

The Omega is a great choice!
Be careful with the Fifty Fathoms LOTS of the vintage ones
out there are fakes.

As for the AP ROO Diver get the new one, its an in house movement... Better bang for your buck I think.

I am a dive watch junkie I like: Rolex Sea Dweller, Rolex DSSD, Rolex ND Sub, Rolex Sub, Linde Werdelin Oktopus, Omegal Ploprof, AP ROO Diver, PITA Barcelona Oceana, IWC Aquatimer, for the vintage look the Longines Diver, Marathon are great diver watches and great daily beaters. Id still strongly consider a JLC diver as well, they are amazing pieces. If I could only have one dive watch I think it would be the Sea Dweller myself.
