ROO question as a newbie

For context i have a RO chrono steel which i LOVE. I actually traded my Rolex daytona 116500 and a little cash for it. I did this because I have Rolex AD relationship but not AP.

Here are my questions on the ROO

1. Is the ROO very difficult to get like the RO?
2. Can you swap out the rubber ROO band and buy the SS ROO bracelet?
3. Grey market for ROO the way to go as it looks like it trades below msrp?

Thank you in advance.

ROO not too hard to get depending on which one you want.

Easy enough to get a steel bracelet, but pricey (maybe c.£3k I think).

Yes go grey for price, but don’t then complain in the future when you can’t get a Royal Oak from an AD because you don’t have a relationship.

thanks for feedback

kind of disconnect that i have not been able to find any ROO at ADs yet they trade at discount in grey.

I wonder if an AD will sell me a bracelet even if i didnt buy the ROO from them - i did get a 1.5 link for my RO bracelet from AD so i hope that is an option

complaining? depends on how you look at it. not to beat a dead horse but...retailers have a job - sell your goods - im here to buy. customers come first

I was quoted $4,155 from AP for a steal bracelet on my diver (15710) - i didn't do it (traded the piece for something else).

Email: APNA.Parts@audemarspiguet.com and they'll take care of you

1. & 3. Totally dependent on the model. What are you considering?

2. I think generally yes, but AP Clearwater can confirm for any model. You can also just buy the strap / bracelet thru them directly if you don't want to go thru your AD.

Good choice Just a year ago they were not too hard to get - I waited just a few weeks. One could check if there are still a few floating around in the system , but most likely you'd be looking at the successor, 26238ST.OO.2000ST.01, at $40.6k. Last year I would have thought that at that price they'd be more than happy to sell one to anybody who asks, but now - who knows?
