help id vintage seamaster :)

Hi Folks,

I'm looking for your Omega expertise to try and id my Omega Seamaster that my grandpa left me. I think it is from the 1960's? It's a manual wind, 34mm case, lug to lug width 18 or 19mm. Back of the case says "seamaster" up top and "waterproof" at the bottom. The hesalite crystal is a bit scratched up. I don't know when it was serviced or ever serviced before. Please advise.

Anyone know what year this was produced? reference #?

How many winds does it need from a dead stop? to keep it ticking on a daily basis?

Thanks in advance! Any help is appreciated.

Any movement shots? BTW, you might have better chance getting a good answer posting in the Omega Forum, instead of Omega Discussion forum in Rolex Forum :)

Made in mid to late 1950's.
There are so many variations of the Seamaster, the best way to find out is have the case opened. The ref number should be on the inside of the back, and the exact age of the watch should be able to be determined by the serial number on the movement.
