JLC 1931 tribute to small seconds wine red

This is one cool release by JLC in my opinion. Found it on the JLC site.

I like it! Does it have another dial on the back?

No, that one has a plain back.

Is it just me, or does JLC release too many reverso tributes and variations. This one is nice, don't get me wrong, but I feel like they should focus their attention on other lines.

Same here... With Reverso references going in and out, sometimes it is hard to figure out whether you're dealing with a limited edition or with a model that is no longer available.

Pretty cool. Red dials aren’t that common and this one looks well-executed.

+2. Too many variation with no single ‘classic’ model(s). They should settle on a dial and case design for some core models. Evolve them slowly over time. Instead they seem to redesign the line every few years.

To OP: that particular Reverso looks nice, but the thickness to case size proportion did not look/wear right to me, based on my experience handling the previous blue dial version.

As the Tribute Reversos are some of my all-time favorite watches, I strongly disagree, because the chances of getting the perfect one go up [second-most perfect, actually, because the London SE exists]

That said, I do think that the non-Tribute Reversos are a waste of time, and I wish they kept the hands and square small seconds of the original 1931 reissues. But this dial atones for many sins...

Anyone know how long JLC typically takes to get stuff from SIHH out to dealers?

Yes me too. This one is a darker red than that which is preferable for me.

I’m also fond of the DD cherry so this is similar colorway.

Nice, I really liked the blue from last year. These Casa straps are so cool.

Just saw this on the website. Really like it. Probably prefer it over the blue dial.

It is a tribute to a tank style watch that (back in its day) was considered a men’s watch.

Now it could be worn by anyone proudly.

It looked absolutely stunning in a couple of SIHH videos. Wonder if the size (45mm) isnt to small do. Prefer the 47/49mm sized reversos.

Nice looking Reverso. So far I like all of their colored Reverso releases.

Beauty! Love the color and the seconds sub dial . .

it's thickness not so much, wish it was issued in an Ultra Thin case like the earlier tributes for small wristed people like me . . .

nice collection! I didn’t even realize it wasn’t ultra thin. 8.5mm should still be reasonable have to try it on.

This Tribute watch looks awesome, especially since I love wine and Reverso watches. I need to check this out.
