It’s authentic.
There’s also signs of polishing...

Much respect my dear amazing professionals, thank you for your feedback!
I got some questions though,
1. is it a good deal to get it for $5k?
2. the lume on dial does not work at all, what glows green is only the pearl on bezel.
Can it be fixed, if so how much?
3. The bezel have one deep scratch, how much is to replace?
thank you

$5,000 isn't terrible for a tritium 16610, but without box and papers and condition, I'd be more of a buyer in the low to mid-4's.

No idea on the cost to re-lume. But, most of those and 14060's are going on 30+ years old. If you're really worried about seeing time at night, opt for something newer. Same with the bezel. I'm of the school of thought that it picked up a quarter of a century of stories. It would be a shame to make it look brand new. Besides, if you replaced it, it would look 'off' from the bracelet condition and overall feel of the piece.

How about a luminova service dial? Get a dial replacement from an independent watchmaker and keep the original.

If he can find one, that's most likely the best route.

3.
Please understand its NOT broken, its acting exactly how it should for its age.

Re-luming or replacing the dial with a modern Luminova, will destroy both the provenance and intrinsic value of the watch.

If the glow is important to you , dont buy vintage!

A luminova 16610 dial can be had for well under 500.
275ish for luminova hands.
225 for luminova insert. Any watchmaker can do the swap. I've done a million.
