New Member from the UK with a Rolex 3 Datejust 36 116200 2007 Stainless Steel

Hi, just wondered if, after recently having it serviced by the supplying dealer, my Rolex 3 Datejust that I bought back in 2007 should be more accurate? It gains/looses around a second per week - no idea why - I wear it every working day. Also, to make sure it's covered by my home insurance, how does one have it valued? Just take it back to the same jeweller (Goldsmiths Bristol) I bought it from and ask? How do other owners insure their watches? Thanks in advance.
